Drafting Technician
This position will assist in the designing and building of fixtures and other in-house projects for the manufacturing process of our products for all departments. This person will be an integral part of the Mitchell Engineering and Manufacturing team. This person needs to be detail oriented and possess competencies in manufacturing processes, 3D computer-aided drafting, mechanical graphics, GD&T.
Core Skills:
3D CAD experience (Solid Edge preferred).
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
A good understanding of geometric dimension and tolerancing.
Technical knowledge of standard tooling components.
Basic understanding or willing to learn the demands of a production facility.
Must be computer savvy and proficient in MS Office.
Candidate must possess good communication skills both written and verbal.
Knowledge and understanding of the metric system.
Education/
Experience:
Entry level graduates with at least an Associate's degree or verifiable industrial 3D CAD experience. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
