Partner with customers to promote systems for highest yields through efficient practices.
Proactively engage in daily/weekly scouting for any pests that may result in yield loss.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSAgronomic product recommendations by field and farmIn-field scouting, documentation, and communication of findings to the customerSkill set in seed, fertilizer, crop protection, foliar nutritionals, soils, crop growth stages and potential impact upon the cropWeekly tissue sampling and evaluation of resultsKeeps records of research, testing, and resultsPrepares analysis and data presentationIrrigation recommendationsHarvest scheduling recommendationsOTHER JOB FUNCTIONSAttending training and opportunities to learn new/innovative practicesQualificationsREQUIREMENTSCCA beneficialEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEAssociates degree or higher preferred2 season internship or scouting experience preferredFUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIESMath SkillsInterpersonal SkillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of soil and crop principles Recommended Skills Communication Interpersonal Skills Mathematics Research Self Motivation Testing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
